ONMW_1

Alright, so I should have mentioned this week I’m heading back up to Chicago for Mother’s day since we’re gonna have a big family fiesta up there for it. Now in Ft. Lauderdale airport and it’s jsut another uninspiring building full of expensive shit that doesn’t make money….

Been thinking about the “Que Pasa , USA?”  2008 idea for a while now, trying to see how something like that could be done and put together. Character ideas, plot and even sets have already come to mind and i hope to put it down. I was even thinking of just making a mini comic or something to it for the pitch, but we’ll see. Maybe if I can film some local actors for it (and that what I would go for if I could produce it) first i have to find the folks behind it, and maybe pitch with a small clip the actual idea I have.

Yes I know, I have no freaking directing experience. Oy.

Also busted out skethces on various ideas and such

:
Just touched upon a bunch of things in my head and then ironing them out. WHY DO I NEED INFERNAL SLEEP!?!

Side note, I am going to San Diego Comic Con, just need to see about plane tickets….WHOOOO

  • Death, when you come to me July 7, 2009
Hey, I finally put my Kitty Pryde piece together from the scans and here it is. I messed with the background in Photoshop. So it didn’t look exactly like this, the background color was sort off-white or something originally. Thanks to whoever out there bought the original art. I meant to post this a while ago, so if you didn’t see it yet, Douglas Wolk did a […]
  • College Professor Trolls For Science, Finds People Hate Him [Mmo] July 7, 2009
Media professor David Myers, from Loyola University, has been studying how people interact in online games. Of interest to us is his account of what happened when he started trolling people. Myers has been studying human interaction in City of Heroes since it first launched all the way back in 2004, and with his character "Twixt" decided as part of […]

Computer scientists at Carnegie Mellon University have figured out how to predict Social Security numbers from publicly accessible birth data with frightening accuracy. The researchers analyzed a public information source known as the "Death Master File," which includes birth data and SSNs for people who have died. The scientists found that in many […]

  • Photos of prison DIY tech July 6, 2009
I've always found DIY prison culture to be absolutely fascinating. Inmates are makers by necessity. In 1999, photographer Marc Steinmetz created this fascinating series of photographs depicting DIY tech found in prisons. The series is titled "Escape Tools." From the artist's site: (Above left), Rope Ladder with wooden rungs disguised […]
